I have gotten so busy with things going on - WA with 100 fires and some near friends I helped move with my horse trailer some out and their animals. Than helped move 122 bales of hay with two 70+ yr old ladiess...we did it - my arms from elbow up has been sore but other than that I am amazed...still have some 66+ bales for my horses to get than help them with double that...
Also have Conservation district coming up to see what can be done to permanently stop the flow of excess water flowing from underground to upground flooding my place...Sounds like I may have to pipe about 400 + feet SIGH
Than my friend wants me to come in and repair more horse blankets after next Tues.
My Grandson I was babysitting went home with ear infection poor little guy but doing well.
AND my brother amazing he is alive the dr says - he waited 2+ hrs to get to hosp; BUT repair and pace maker and adjusting...doing good
I have been off ds and internet I was having withdrawals...seriously

I agree with you about when we're not on DS as often as we'd like...it can feel very lonely without the bonds of friendship that we've formed here, with people who truly do understand our feelings.
Great news about your brother, too. Now take good care of yourself, dear friend.

You are a dear to help friends who are in emergency mode and need assistance. And, wonderful news regarding flooding (well, that could have been a little better news, but at least you'll have a fix), more work for you in the horse-blanket trade and the good news about your brother. Bad news about your grandson, but children bounce back so quickly - he's probably better already.
So nice to hear things are picking up for one of us, here, at least. Thanks for sharing your good news.
We miss you, too, when you're gone from us...welcome back!
