I can't even begin to imagine living ten years without my love. So thankful you thought to share your survival with us. If this is too personal, please forgive me... but have you found some kind of happiness and joy? I know that things are just so fresh for me, but I find myself fearing that I will never feel okay or have fun again. I know that is NOT what my husband would want for me, but I miss him so, so much. I miss our life, our shared interests, our routine. I keep thinking I should try and do the things we once did and loved but I can't do them alone. Not, I don't want to, I physically can't install that new microwave or hang that drywall. We loved all the DIY, HGTV projects. I still love them but can't do them without his skill. We would spend most Saturday morning's watching those programs and then decide to try something similar. I don't want to watch the shows anymore because I will see these cool things and not be able to make them happen. How do you make it 10 years?

Thanks for sharing. Hugs to you. Roxanne
is survive one year at a time and keep counting. You have managed to get to ten and that has to say a lot for your tenacity. Surely having reached ten years and being remarried has hopefully eased the pain of the loss. But the memories never die do they?
