Hi, I've been wanting to join your nice group for about almost 8 1/2 months, since I lost my boyfriend. Still feel like I want to join him. He was 64 yrs old and passed from a massive heart attack. The night after he left, I called a suicide hotline, for the first time in my life!! If it wasn't for my Aunt being there for me, who has lost 2 partners, I don't know what I would have done!! This is the worst thing I ever went through in my life and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!! Every aspect of my life is a total mess now, in limbo, trying to figure out what to do. Have to start a new profession and all and just everything very scary and lonely now, relied on Him too much for a lot of stuff. He was my rock and best friend and confidante and my protector. I felt safe and secure, and now just feel alone and very scared!! I am a shy, introverted person and he was outgoing. I don't think I am going to make it in this crazy world, and it's getting crazier by the day, help!!

I lost my second husband (we were married 18 years) who was 64 to a massive heart attack. I was almost 57. This was in 2010. I remarried a year later and then lost him to cancer after not quite 6 years of marriage. I don't know which way is up right now. All we can do is take one day at a time.
I can't decide whether to stay here or move back to where I came from. There's a lot yet to do.
I never thought I'd be able to get through those early rough and depressing times, but I did. I still struggle here and there, but I know he's with me giving me support and strength from afar. Everybody has different ways of coping with their grief, mine was and is in music and cooking.
You will get through this girl, you're stronger than you think.
We're here for you with big hugs and love.
