still doesn't seem real

I had a rough night. Some days stronger than others, it just does not seem real. I feel like he is going to walk through the door at any moment. Last time I saw him he was alive. He had to be cremated and we as the family were unable to see his body. So I feel that makes it harder for me to believe that he is gone. I miss so much it is crazy!!

Everything seems surreal at times. My mind knows he is gone, but my heart and soul wants him here with me. I miss my best friend in the world. Just trying to get through day after day. Just really difficult...

Thank you all for your kind words. I am so glad that I have this group as an outlet. I have plenty of people that I can talk to, but maybe only 1 who has been through what I am going through and I do not have a way to get in touch with her. I love that I can log on at any time of day or night and just write or read and be uplifted. Thank you all!! I will continue to read and pray and send hugs and love to you all!!!

Wow, so many of us all feeling the same - glad I'm not alone. I'm so used to having a lot of my own interests, as did Tom, and he woukd go to seminars or business trips. So in some ways the loneliness feels familiar but I keep thinking (well, wishing) he's going to come home soon or come upstairs to see what I'm doing. My head knows, But my heart just can't accept it.

I look at all his pics on my phone and can't believe how someone so full of life can be gone. So many times I just want to talk about current events or even just get a hug, and he's not there.. 7 months and I still miss him like it was last week.
