Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Hugs Leanette
I am so glad that you are able to enjoy your yard again and tackle the weeds. Progress comes in small spurts and I look for that progress in any form daily.
Hugs, Valerie
But after ~ 1 year or so I got a jolt of get going - it did feel good.
Knowledge is power - The knowledge that you can do things you never thought you could or would do when they were here gives you a big lift. I have 3 of our 5 acres to care for - sometimes when one little thing hangs up I get discouraged but keep trodding forward.
I agree long ways to go to make life perfect and not sad and lonely but I know each step is better than backwards now.
You are giving us encouragement also. GO GIRL
Hugs,
Nessie from KY
I believe that once that overwhelming grief starts to subsides we can take time to reflect on the good times. I'm hoping for you that your backyard will now be a place for the good memories.
Many hugs, Cathy
