Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
When my children share their day-to-day strives with me.....I get it.....I care but geeezzzz, do they have any idea what it feels like to have lost your partner, your mate, your other half? I wouldn't wish this loss on anyone, certainly not my children.
It's up to us to take care of EVERYTHING now and our energies have been sapped.....taken away from us.....and, to do one-more-thing would simply turn me to dust right now!
I'm writing this from work and I swear I've lost all my motivation and energy. Thankfully, this feeling doesn't last forever and maybe tomorrow will be a better day for all of us!.
I totally understand how you're feeling and I'm sorry!

I don't know when this will slow down but I am glad we have found this group of others who have gone this road before us to share what they have experienced. I am grateful for a glimpse of the road ahead even though we each take our own individual path. And to know we are not the only one who feels this way along the way.
Im sorry you are feeling so much pain. Since I have lost my husband it seems like all of my stresses have increased and there is no end in sight. My heart is broken and my life is forever changed. I don't want it, I didn't ask for it, I want it to all be over and when I think about the fact that it will never be over I plunge into my bed and cry. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy ever. I get so mad that others don't get it. Im not going to say hang in there because thats not enough to just hang on. If you're like me... the life boat SUNK. Think of what your husband might have done if he were still here, write things down to see them on paper and tackle one thing at a time and if thats too much then start over and try again the next day. Thinking of you

I think the Prozac is starting to kick in and I love my therapist....I am seeing him twice weekly for the time being.
I think of you and worry about you all the time. Please hang in there.
Love
Jen
