everybody borrowed it...and run it down. couldn't keep keeping it up for other people. He got so mad that i did that.
I would like this lady to buy because she lives far away and I wouldn't have to see it. I think it'd break my heart to see someone else driving it and we live in such a small town.
I know it is not logical, and wasteful, but I cannot let it go yet. So much associated with this Jeep! we always took road trips, long distance alllowed heart to heart conversations, relaxed unhurried time with each other. I need to start thinking now, today,tomorrow, but past is still holding me strong.
Someday soon, I will get stronger, and more decisive to move on.
what is hard for us to let go = costs us alot of money...
For some reason the small things are more important to me than the big things. I still keep his toothbrush in the bathroom along with his razor. I had his ties made into a quilt and I held onto his drumset.

One thing that helped was that he took a picture of the truck with Rick's whistles and things still hanging from the rear view mirror, just as if it was still his. I know that sounds counter-intuitive, but I know I have a picture of it if I ever need to see it, but I don't HAVE to.
To give it to a family member would have been too much to handle. That's not even a good idea if nobody dies.
Totally understand about the boat, btw. That would really get to me. So sorry you have to see it doing things that you can no longer enjoy the same way.
