Shortly before my hubby went to heaven Oct 2013 he left me a voice mail message from the hospital saying he couldn't wait to share how he had talked about the Lord to several students brought in to hear his testimony. I had my grandson save that message for me and last night for the first time replayed it. Wow, what a wonderful blessing, tears of joy.

yeah.. listening to your loved ones is something we miss everyday. I am so happy for you, and even happier to know he is in heaven and one day you will see him face to face.

Hugs, so glad you can listen to your husband's voice mail. I also listen to my husband's voice mail that he called on mother's day just a few days before he passed away. I was out with our daughters and he was overseas. In the message, he would call again later and it was comforting to hear his voice and pretend that he would call again in the future. I still wish a phone is for me from him to pick me up from work.

I had saved a phone message for several years after my husband died.
It was sent from the hospital telling me he was being discharged and looking forward to being picked up. It gave me much comfort to hear his voice. Sharon

For awhile I kept replaying Michaels voice mail greeting on his cell. I'd just dial it over and over. I still can't remember the sound of his voice tho. After 15 yrs of hearing him talk non-stop you'd think it would be easy but it's gone.

I also have 2 calls he made from the hospital to say hello.
I miss hearing his voice. I play them sometimes but it still makes me cry after a year .

Wow so neat. I read somewhere that you can go to build a bear and get the recording put in the bear so it will play, going to try to do that. Everything that happens I think I need to tell that to hubby, darn then reality sets in. Am reading the book "Hello from Heaven" love it, helping me, can only read one page at a time,

I really don't have much of my husband talking. It's on video but so little of it.

So glad you have that. I have CD's of sermons my husband preached but have not been able to bring myself to listen to them yet. Maybe now with tears of joy, rather than fear of painful loss. thanks and blessings, Doreen

"Hello from Heaven" is a book that I highly recommend.
