I'm so happy I found this group, I lost the love of my life to cancer on September 8th 2016 at 11:38am.....my world has been turned upside down, we had been together 11 years and on our 12th year Anniversary we made it offical!!...we got married on September 25th, 2015. We didn't get a chance to celebrate our 1st year of marriage, he died 17 days prior, It was devastating, and still is. I just can't believe he is gone, we had so many plans, so much to do together, I lost my appetite not only for food but for life itself, it just seem so cruel, and still so unreal. I have never been this lonely in my life. I never knew grief like this before. The town well live in we did Everything together, so now it is hard for me to even go outside, let alone get out of bed. So I have decided to relocate to a new city where nobody know my name or my story. An unfamiliar place to me, I figure if I am forced to find a new normal, then that's just what I am going to have to do. So once I get some of the legal issues at least started, I will be ready to start my new life, in a new place....until then... Please somebody tell me what to do:(.

My husband was killed in an accident at work. We were together 24 years and like you we did everything together.
I had to move out of our rented townhouse due to lack of funds. I even had to let his vehicle be repossessed. I moved in with my son. . then I started running as soon as I got $ I went clear a crossed the US trying to find ??? Relief , happiness, get out of the fog... I don't know. I bought a house- hated it, sold it 6 months later, moved back in with my son, spent so much to find nothing! Grief followed me everywhere I went. When the fog lifted after 18 months and I finally settled in to the new me I bought a condo and I'm at peace. I still have days when the tears run down my face but not as before when I just wanted to go with him. I agree with you though let God guide your steps. He knows best
