My mom going in for pace maker 2:30 this afternoon PNW time

Like the Dr put it, when you fix a fuel pump in a car with 100,000 miles it does not mean you fixed or damaged the water pump in the process.
So the stents helped but now at age 84 you need this....

I pray for your strength and for the best outcome for your mother. It's hard to see our parents, who have always been our strength, start losing their health and independence. Best wishes to both of you for the very best.

Pacemaker to be put in this am, postponed til Noon (emergencies came in) postponed til 2:30, postponed until ??? Heart center will call Mon for a reschedule time. RN said ~1 1/2 weeks if she can make it that long. SO we may be headed back to Seattle Virginia Mason.

I wish you strength and courage to get through this difficult time. I hope you can enjoy your mom as much as possible. My parents are 81 and 85 and each time I'm with them I try to be as present as possible, knowing that they won't be here forever. I want to savor every moment.

Who knew when I responded to your post April 8th, my Dd would be getting a pacemaker tomorrow. He is 96 next month. Meds were tried.

How amazing you just wrote, we just heard a few minutes ago they have an opening for my Mom to have her pacemaker put in at 11 AM tomorrow. She is 84....

@Wendy Prayers for a quick recovery, my Uncle had his put in at late age 90 also and did very well.
