I have tried to write a journal entry two times now to tell my story and am unable to. Not because I can get the words out, but because my computer shuts down my internet connection and I loose everything. The first time I was like, "hmmm, oh well. I'll do this later". But today I was half way through what would be a long journal entry and it happened again. So, kinda weird this time. Maybe I should wait. But I want to share what happened, I guess it won't be today though. What I can say today is that my husband was 49 and it was sudden. He had a blot clot and to make a long story short, I will be talking to a lawyer today. I am sure that I cannot go into much detail, just please pray for me to have strength.

Praying that the Lord carries you and gives you peace as you talk to the lawyer today. This journey through widowhood is hard enough alone, without all the death duty things that come along with it when we are so alone to begin with and just trying the breathe!!

Praying that you will find comfort and strength. and that you get a break from the grief from time to time. I also pray you get a better internet connection or that the one you have is repaired. Really!! That has to be the most frustrating thing, especially at a time like this! You have to be able to communicate with this group! In just a few days I have found so much love, support and help here! I'm so so sorry for your loss.

Just a suggestion re the internet problem. I only recently signed up for highspeed internet and prior to that - ugh! On dial-up, I constantly was getting booted offline after typing a tome, resulting in the loss of my entire posting/reply. So, I typed long postings/replies off line in a file, then went online and copied it to my posting/reply. It worked very well.

Sorry you have been unable to communicate fully with all of us. We're still here for you, though.

I hope you can find a solution to your problem. From my personal experience it does help to journal. And hearing from others who are where you are or beyond helps so very much. I see that you are so young to be going thru this.....I am not old I am 54 and my husband was just 56 in Feb and passed in April. It may not sound the healthies but I talk to my husband all the time. I just don't feel that he is all that far away from me....

My prayers are with you.

On the computer front. I had a similar problem. Probably had a virus or something on it, but I started using the copy function and pasting to Word. I'l do this every few minutes and save it, just in case. It worked, giving me time to get the computer problem fixed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. And the fact that you are contacting an attorney does not sound good for what happened to you and your husband. I'm so sorry that you not only have to deal with his death but that someone may have contributed in some way to it. May God strengthen you and guide you. My thoughts and sympathy go out to you.

Sorry for the loss of your husband and the added stress of talking to the lawyers and not being able to get your story out. Glad that you did connect as this group is very understanding, caring and supportive as you walk this long journey that no one wants to be on......you no longer have to do this alone......hugs

I am sorry for your loss. I wish you well with your journey with the attorney. My husband too died suddenly a massive heart attack due to a drug OD. He was 35. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
