Thank you everyone for all your prayers. One more night in the hospital, and then I can go home. I'm still pretty weak and sore, but I'm starting to feel a little better.

The doctors think I presented with infectious colitis (that just sounds awful) and it caused me to lose a lot of blood and fluids in a very short time and I started to go into shock. My doc says he sees about three or four cases of this every year. I can't help but think stress had something to do with this getting so bad.

It has been hard being back in a hospital environment, but it made me realize just how skilled and caring the nurses and doctors really are. I did not have that impression the last time I was in a hospital. I have heard many of my wife's caregivers were devastated when they found out she had died. I have to remember they really tried hard to save her,
