With many many helpers we did it in one big day (and one short evening) they are moved. AND
Forrest did well through surgery, took 80% of his colon, and he is to get out of intensive care today....unless something slows it down but he is fighting well.
I am babysitting their little chichuachua (sp?) mix who is getting along with my yellow lab and cairn terrirer...Course they know I would beat their behinds if they did not anyway...
A very emotional move - her children have been just kinda to all of us "BUTTS" 1/2 of me says they just want them moved and done with which is understandable but Linda has not been able to make decisions on what to keep or get rid of - many antique furniture in her family has been disposed of (while it is agreed some things would not fit in her new mobile home in a mobile park in the country luckily) she should have been able to make the decisions. We bit out tongues and helped them move as family dynamics were out of our control. Course many of her long time friends here did snag some things at our homes which we will resurrect in time for her where she can than decide in peace.
WHEW - it felt good to help them out....AND I was crying when all was gone - a long time neighbor gone...SIGH
AGAIN I am sure your prayers helped everyone is surprised Forrest did so well...he has been sick so long...
This particular story make me feel terribly sad for them.
