Please send some prayers for my refinancing again,

It seems the age of my mobile home although filed at county court house as real property may cause the credit union to deny my loan.
Although I owe only 17,000 and my whole 5 acres with a double car garage with shop, long breezeway porch with two small rooms on the end of that all attached to the mobile home and resided all together,
plus a 40 X 40 shop/garage it seems the actual age of the mobile home may stop them from refinancing.

Please say a pray they decide not to decline my loan the appraisal guy came out this morning. It was than going through paper work we found its older than originally thought by 5 more years -

Please God help me get through this, and allow this to go through so I may go on without my husband and not have to sell my place.

It would be hard to sell it also at this time.

I appreciate all of your prayers. I have been trying not to be upset about it all day keeping busy now its close to evening I think I need all the prayers I can get.

Prayers to you on this. I'm a realtor, and appraisals are the running the whole show right now.

I'm selling my house, and I won't even pack until the agent tells me that the appraisal came in at the sale price..otherwise, I'll have to unpack it all and find another buyer...

Is it possible that there is a mistake in the records? Could the appraiser possibly be mis-reading the records? Just a thought.

$17,000 is not a tremendous amount of money, expecially backed with the real property that you have. Don't hit me for this, but do you have a friend who could finance that amount for you? I had a friend who did this for me many years ago. I gave her in return an interest rate that beat the bank. Win-Win. Also, I have always had better luck dealing with local banks rather than all these ads you see where everything is online. Your reputation and standing in the community should count for something if it is a local institution. Your credit and character references should help, too, if local. Good luck!! My prayers are with you as you go through this. We have so much grief and then there are the secondary things that weigh us down even more. All when our hearts and souls are so broken. Many hugs too sent your way.

Thank You for all of the caring posts, I am trying not to be worried, if you come through my home it has been remodeled, and sided you would never know its a mobile home, Cedar ceiling and walls in master bedroom, living and kitchen.

I am in process of remodeling M. bathroom, and recarpeting 3 rooms plus hallway. Painting other areas although my after the above I will be fixed fencing, putting up electrical wiring to keep two horses from breaking any more boards - well if the elk don't mess with it....GOSH don't I sound ambitious

Have you ever thought about getting a home equity loan on your property? You could take that money, pay off your mortgage and then make payments on the equity line. Equity lines are still tax deductible.
