PNW is now getting those hot temps...its was 92 here which is in the mts so thats hot...
And I got hot when a neighbor gal at a function this am said "DIane now that Don lost his wife you could become good friends with him - and maybe even more"
Don is my SIL's father who is burying his wife tomorrow.
SO First I said are you kidding me? Don does not even like horses so wouldn't work to which she replied "OH you need to give up those horses and get a man to be with you." \
SO I said very childish like "Why don't you jump in the lake, swallow a snake and come out with a bellyache." FOR GODSAKE his wife just died and I am still in mourning....what a horrible thing to say.
Luckily for her or maybe me....she walked away in a huff...
The few close by us said GOOD FOR YOU....

Sometimes the "clue train" avoids stopping at some people's residences. Obviously she is one of them.
We could all get together and write a 9 billion page book----and those that haven't suffered our kind of loss would probably still scratch their heads and not understand------
Good for you to have a response to her nonsense-----SHE went off in a huff???? Should have been the other way around----she really IS clueless.

Unbelievable! Stupidity always amazes me. I love your quick and witty response. I'm sorry for the hurt it caused you, and I'm sure Don would have been taken aback at that insensitive comment as well. Hang in there, for there seems to be no limit to such comments as we continue on our path of healing. Good Grief--what are they thinking? TJ
Some people just need to be TOLD and Shown the rules of the road.
