The photo I have here is of my husband and I on our wedding day August 12th, 2007. He was taken from me by a massive heart attack on Nov 14, 2015. Six days before we met face to face. I'm not sure why other's dont post pictures but it could be they are new to the internet or scared or something. It would be nice to see more phoos up!

Yes Patty, that's probably right. I just uploaded photos to my profile page to be viewed only to those that I made friends,,,I just added you as my friend :)

I couldn't look at his photos without bawling my eyes out. But eventually I did post some. I think it takes some of us time to do this

I didn't post photos right away. But once the pain lessened I did and like you I enjoy seeing peoples photos.

Donna passed over 3 years ago, and since then i have been searching hi and low for as many pictures as I can find. Family, friends etc. I don't know how to explain it but it's wonderful to find pictures that have so long been not looked at or maybe never knew we had.

I also have a few recordings of her, video and audio. I even have one with us talking together on a CB radio before we were married. That's actually how we met in 1969. We were married for 40 years.

I do believe there is some magic in those old pictures...

I had not posted any photos previously but I have just posted few I had on my work computer. Haven't seen them in a while made me smile and made me cry.

Carrie, your pictures are wonderful.

I know it took me a long time to post pictures because it's so, so difficult to face-up to the realization of it all!

I love all the photos! It brings a more personal feel to all the pain we are all dealing with. I've had a picture of my husband and me on our wedding day since his viewing. I have his Urn on the shelf on my side of the bed and it has his picture on it. I also have a album the funeral home gave me. It has his picture on it also laying up against his pillow. I carry the two wedding photos his niece printed out to display at his service in my Jeep. So I can look at them whenever I need to see his face. It might be twisted - but it helps me deal with the pain. I've got a hand scanner so going to scan some other pictures to the computer and I'll post them here next week. I'm working the next five days straight OT. But, going to friends for NYE!
