Oh Wendy - What a great belief and I would like to believe that too !! Since I've lost Mark, it seems as if I've found so many pennies on the ground, or on the floor. It kind of amazed me - how many I kept finding and now I have a new meaning for that.
Mark is telling me that he's okay - he's watching over me and thinking of me. Thank you so very much for that great thought. It truly makes me smile - you're right, my friend, sometimes ya just gotta believe !!

I have to believe after July 4th. That date marked 29 years since our first date. My neighbors invited me over that day to go swimming. I headed out the door and down the drive towards our mailbox when I looked down in front of the mailbox their was a brand new shiny penny. I would like to hope that he was letting me know that he remembered that was the anniversary of our 1st date. It was an odd place to find a penny. Made me feel good anyways. Thanks for sharing the story.

Susan was always a superstitious sort, and would always stop to pick up a penny for good luck - IF - it was "heads" up. If it were tails, she'd leave it be.

Since she know me so well, I'm hoping she leaves me silver dollars, or maybe some Susan B's.

My children and I have found tons of pennies all over the place and I truly believe. A friend sent me this:

I found a penny today
Just laying on the ground.
But it's not just a penny,
this little coin I've found.

Found pennies come from heaven,
that's what my mama told me.
She said Angels toss them down.
Oh, how I loved that story.

She said when an Angel misses you,
they toss a penny down.
Sometimes just to cheer you up,
To make a smile out of a frown.

So, don't pass by that penny,

It's probably a penny from heaven,
That an Angel's tossed to you.

Yup, I love the poem, I posted it here a few weeks ago with Grampa instead of Mama, whatever works, and it does make me feel better.

I am a receptionist, when I came in to work this morning there was a penny on my desk:) Last night very heavy thundering & lighting I am thinking where are you when you know I can not stand the loud sound of thunder and the flashing of sharp lighting. So now I am thinking you made it through the night. I was there.

I honestly haven't heard about pennies that are found are dropped from heaven. Just last night, I was sitting in the living room, working on making some beaded jewelry and when I was done, I picked up a couple of beads that had fallen on the floor. I also found a penny on the floor. I don't recall any money on my little table or the floor before I started.
Something told me to read this post, so here I am. It is a great belief, thinking that this could be from my Chuck. He told me that he would contact me, if it was possible. I am certain he has already and the penny may be yet another time. I'm a believer!
