This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Our friend and supporter here at DS, Jerrie (jbsix) is not expected to live more than a day or 2. Her lung cancer has progressed and she is heavily medicated. Her daughter who lives near her is there now, and said her 3 siblings are enroute. Jerrie's 4 children have been very close to her as her condition worsened, and I'm sure this means so much to all of them
Requesting prayers for Jerrie and her family. She and I developed a great friendship through DS, and I will miss her very much!
Jerrie is a believer in God and eternal life with Him after death. "For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens...."

STEPPING INTO ETERNITY
As I breath my last breath;
I will enter into Heaven's Eternal Rest.

God Bless you Jerry and thank you for being light in the darkness, giving of yourself to touch others with the Love of Jesus. Thank you for touching my heart in my pain. Great is your reward.
My prayers are with you all as you see your mom home to Jesus and in the days ahead.
