Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I don't think it's weird.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
I write to Tracey in the same way, not always on this site, but in private.
We used to talk all the time about silly simple things, so I tend to feel this lets me keep her here with me. I also talk out loud to her when I'm on my own, I can't hear her reply, but hope she hears me. I also think it helps me to get things clear in our own mind when trying to navigate this new life. Take care, John
Write to him talk to him do what brings you peace what comforts you. I sometimes talk to his picture sometimes just as I'm cleaning or as I'm lying in bed. It's cathartic and healing for some.
I love that you asked, I love it when you all ask questions I have wondered about but never asked. They always help me, and it gives others a chance to vent and talk about their journey and pain and I think in every way each post whether it begins a discussion or someone is responding it is healing.
Much love to you
Cindy
I have so much to say, I fear I'll just breakdown at every turn and won't be able to finish it. Also, there's so much that our children and family do not know. I'm not ready to share it all yet.
The day that I write it all down, will be the truest healing day of my life!!!!!!
