Hi All,

Deb here. I lost my boyfriend Bill a year ago this past Saturday, October 14, 2017 to colon cancer that had spread. He fought for 4 long years but the cancer was too aggressive. I can't quite believe that one year has passed already.  It is incredible that time can go by that fast. I still miss him every day and think about him all the time. Yes I am better but I still cry alot and there are so many things that trigger memories. In some respects tho I am still in denial. I know he is not here but I still can't quite grasp that, does that makes sense at all to anyone?  I went on vacation last week for 6 days to San Francisco with my 31 yr old daughter.  We live in New York. I had not been on one for over 15 years. We had a fabulous time and I have to admit that I did not think about Bill at all while I was away. My daughter kept every day filled with so many things to do!!  It was strange to come back home and think of him again and to realize that I had not the whole time I was away. That is a good thing I guess. We all have to live our lives and move on without our loved ones. It is good to know I can still have fun and enjoy my life. God bless all of you!! Hugs!!
