I am so very sorry for your loss. A one month, all your emotions are still raw. It will affect your memory as it had happen to me at that time frame. I am into my 11 month and next month will be 1 year mark for me. We all know how you feel. Just take it slow, one moment at a time or one day at a time. Carefully and take your time to look at every item so you wouldn't miss finding his ring. You will find it. Take care and hugs to you.

I understand totally......my husband was 73 pounds, while he was loosing weight, I bought him a chain, to wear his ring on, around his neck. He must have broken it.
i thought he had worn it to hospital..... I paniced..... he also lost his dentures. I went through his room with a fine tooth comb....with all his thrashing, I found them all in a small trash can, he kept beside his bed. Thank goodness I went through that carefully....You will find it, you probably haven't had the mind to go through everything yet....Look closely at everything....

I am sorry for your loss. It will be 6 months for me tomorrow, and my thought process is still not so good. But it is diffrent then at 1 month.

As far as your husbands ring is concerned. Maybe you should stop looking for it a bit. Let it come to you instead of you looking for it. Like you said, you know it's there, you just can't find it right now. When you need it the most, it will cross your path.

I am sorry there are no words to make this better, it just is. But what I am finding, is that it does get different. I am no longer in the worst physical and emotional pain of my life, I don't quite know how to describe it, but it is just different.

Trust in yourself, you can do this, and one way or another that ring will find it's way back to you.

I can understand this very well. I think in time you will find it by going about your normal business. My Joe had a gold neck chain he always wore. When in the hospital (in and out, in and out) "we" put it away somewhere and could not find it. He blamed me (gently) for losing it. I felt so very guilty. Months later I went into our portable safe deposit box at home (for the first time) and found it there inside a plastic pill bottle where HE had put it, and he forgot. By this time, he was already passed away, but I looked up and said, "This one is on you, dear. I didnt' lose your chain, you did." And I smile.

My wedding ring was becoming too big, so I put it inside one of my wife's jewelry boxes. Just wanted to mention that.

I find myself unable to put the important items away that I find of my wife's at the moment, it was becoming very painful to do, but I have found many items I did not know about or lost over time by just organizing what my wife kept through the years. I find items here and there all the time. I need to get back to doing that again soon. I hope you find your husband wedding ring.

I am so sorry for your loss. I couldn't find my wife's wedding ring and I finially said out loud, ( Gina where the hell is your ring, c'mon help me find it,) would u believe I walked into her office, opened a box I was so sure I had looked in already, and there it was. I was blown away. I'm not really a believer in that kind of stuff but even I was amazed. My mind is still messed up even going on three years. I find that if I lose something now, I don't bother to go crazy looking, eventually things just seem to show up. Wishing u peace. Todd
