Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Holding on to his things is normal at the time frame you are at. Yet so is letting them go. You see everything is normal, yet, nothing is normal in grief. It's about how you feel and how you react to those feelings. If keeping something gives you comfort or a source of having him that's what you need to do.
You are number 1 now and your feelings are the priority. Take small steps on better days or when you are able and know that you are not alone. Sharon
I am sad today knowing that he left me forever one month ago but I also know he wouldn't want me to stop living. I just need to figure out how to honor his memory and continue living.
