Alot of lonely topics here lately. Is the winter making it even more lonely - probably not but I think it brings it to the surface more?

For me dealing w/all the things that come up alone - having that one person who shared them took alot off your shoulders.

Having entered my second year I thought that I would gain determination to live life again. Loneliness drags you down and has been a demotivating factor. Each night I sit alone telling myself that I just can't continue this way and tomorrow i am going to do something about it. Tomorrow gets busy with whatever until tomorrow night falls and once again I sit there thinking that I did nothing. This loneliness cannot be satisified by the company of friends and family. They occupy time and create a diversion, it is when they leave that the company I need is not there. But you all know what I mean...
So many songs have taken on a new meaning...

I'm only 29 but my soul is older. My husband was 48. And yes this song really is sad. I love a lot of the "oldies" but a lot of songs that I loved I cannot listen to... love Patsy Cline. I cannot listen to her now. I take long walks and the song "i go walking after midnight" just is too much.
