This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
The details have been worked out for the Ohio Autumn DS Gathering. I hope you will consider joining us. It will be a day to connect and put a face with a nameat last!!! As I've mentioned before, the other get-togethers have been great fun and uplifting. I think it surprised all of us how quickly we bonded. Conversations ranged from lighthearted and fun loving to camaraderie between determined survivors. What a special group of people the DSers arekindhearted, supportive, and compassionate.

November 12-14. The main day being Saturday, November 13, 11:30 a.m.
WHERE:
The Gathering will be held at my house (address to be given by private message), hoping that all of you can stay for a bonfire in the evening. Remember those S'mores!!!!
LODGING:
Hampton Inn, 11484 Allen Road, Jeffersonville, OH 43128 (1-71 Exit 65 @ Route 35) (740-948-9499), $80.10, not including tax. This includes a hot Continental Breakfast.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
To receive the special price, there is a Code to mention when making your reservations. Please contact me by private message, and I will be glad to give you that Code. If we are not yet friends, please make a friend request so that I can give you additional information privately.

What happened to the "continual" breakfast ?? !! LOL That's my kind of meal !!!
That sounds like a great weekend - and I don't think I've had s'mores since my 21 year old was in cub scouts..............

Sorry, but the "Continual" Breakfast is no longer available--just the "Continental" Breakfast. I'm smiling as I'm typing this, hoping that I don't make another dumb mistake. Ya never know!!!! TJ
I'm working on scheduling November right now so am not certain but I surely would like to be there!

If I hear the roar of a cycle, I'll be expecting to see an Irish farm gal skidding down the lane and maybe even a city gal leaning back on the sissy bar.

Although it has really cooled off today......I love it............
Looking forward to the GTG and hope many come..........hmmmm, wonder if Trish will try to round us up and force the maple trees to produce earlier...and we will make syrup around the bonfire..............this is a bump up
