Oh Scottie, you are so tricky and funny at the same time. You got us all on that one for a minute, until Blue entered the picture. So happy and glad for you to get a nice little puppy to take care of. And yes, absolutely, everything we do, touch, say, feel, act on is a total diversion, distraction, yes sir. Except the only difference between a girl dog and a girl is the real girl is much more cunning than peeing on your desk for retaliation. You know what I mean? Now, you got me to thinking about that chain collar for a puppy of 8 weeks old. That's when they have to be broken into training, young, so don't feel bad for dragging the little one through the parking lot on the collar. Now since Blue is full bred with pedigree, I suppose, here's another diversion, distraction for you, will be so much fun. Register with your local Kennel Club, enter Blue into puppy dog shows, learn how to train her, and you will have a real diversional, distractional blast. You might even open a separate bank checking account for all the money you will be spending on your new Blue toy to get her to win trophies. Here's an itemization: vet bills, biscuits for treats, puppy toys, lots of newspaper in the corner for her poopie training, toilet paper, plastic trash bags, oh and for God's sake, her puppy food. Just take a trip into the nearest Pet Store, and wow, what a warehouse, full of animals and their stuff, it will knock you out. And best of all, you won't have some fortune hunter woman dragging you threw the mall clearing out your credit cards. And then about a year or two from now, look out, keep Blue inside, because then you will wake up one morning and find 5 or 6 new puppy Blues whimpering in your bed with their eyes not yet open. On a more serious note, Scottie, thanks so much for sharing your fun adventures with us. Especially me, it brought back all the good, fun memories I had with my John when I met him in California in 1985. That's how I met him when I bought a puppy Alaskan Malamute from his kennel, and yes we did all those things. Thanks for bringing up my fun memories, my friend.

She will give you unconditional love once she gets you trained to do things her way. Mine is upset and giving me the cold shoulder because I moved the bedroom furniture around. He hates any kind of change, much like my Brian did. He'll get over it when he wants to take me for a walk tomorrow.
