I lingered on every word you wrote. Your love for each other shined through.
Morey wanted to be "stuffed and mounted on the fireplace!" Unconventional, was his middle name! Of course, he was just kidding but he does rest on a table in our bedroom.
The love of my life, the father of my children, my heart of hearts......what more can anyone say.
I'm moving forward with ALL of you....we're ALL moving together, standing strong by one another, in our sadness and happiness that we were the lucky ones. YES, we were the ones who had that true love that eludes most of the human race.
Stay strong,
Roz
The Memorial card was so lovely......I am so sorry for your loss, I am sorry for all of our losses. The pain is raw, but in time I hope the edge will come off.
Many hugs to you.
Jen
What a beautiful rememberence, and such beautiful thoughts you expresed - ok, I admit it - I teared up.
choose a urn necklace, that I wear daily, close to my heart.
When I moved to Az I ordered my new license plate with his name
on it.... It has been a year now, but miss him just the same. Like you, and others he & I will meet again !!!!
Six weeks was really hard..I think it's when the shock is starting to wear off. Sounds like you have great kids and family, so let them help you.
One thing my kids have done to help (inadvertently maybe) is inviting themselves and friends over, and I cook a big meal for them. I like it though...the shopping, chopping, and cooking and serving is therapeutic for me and gives me something to do. Miss my husband being here to serve the wine though.
