On July 15th my husband committed suicide in our home. I found him. He reached out to the only person that was unable to show him love during his life, his father. He didn't reach out to anyone that would beg him not to. He told his dad not to let me find him. Happened anyway. I can't go home. I'm couch hopping at different friends houses. All the legal shit is overwhelming. Everyone needs me to answer questions and make decisions. I just want to crawl into a dark place and hide. I started therapy. Its nice to talk to someone. I can't talk to my family. They want to "make it better." There is no making this better. It just hurts. My husband was not depressed. He got a DWI while I was out of town. When he was released he went home and killed himself. He said didn't want to face the shame. He didn't give us a chance to love him through this. We would have. I'm still waiting to wake up from a terrible dream. I have to remind myself every morning why he isn't there and that he isn't coming back. I talk myself through what happened. I'm not sure what all to put in this post. Still trying to figure out how to function. Guess that means talking to strangers who get it.
