Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I am so sorry for your loss. I loss my husband a year ago and for months I was in a fog of grief. There is no timetable but there will come a day when the grief is not overwhelming. Know that you are not alone you have the support of family and friends and take good care of yourself.
It has been just over 10 months for me and it is getting easier..but still not easy and still many days I weep or outright sob.
I am sorry you lost your husband and I hope your path through this crazy grief is as gentle to you as possible.
Give yourself time and do what feels right to you. There are a lot of things that you need to decide and get through, but all at your pace.
Take care,
Joe
I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for reaching out and welcome to the group!
Give yourself time to grieve. Cry when you need to. My mother passed away 7 years ago and I still cry whenever I miss her.
It’s good to know that your family is there to support you. Praying for you for peace and strength as you go through this trying times. Please feel free to share anytime. We are here for each other. God bless.
I have found some solace in knowing I was loved by such a beautiful man and that for a time he was mine. I also believe he is near me and will be waiting.
I was listening to some talk and a comment came up that hit me...Love them enough to live on and remember that each day we wake up is another day closer to meeting them again, our work here is not done. Hope that brings you some peace.
Sending you xxx
I pray, try to keep up with paperwork, cry, and sleep right now.
Bless you, and you all will be in my prayers.
