I think for me it was why didn't I see it coming. Guilt is one of the worst emotions we can allow ourselves to feel..Believe me..I went through it..But it is a wasted emotion and changes nothing..Next is regret for what might have been and won't be...My husband was an Optimist and Loved everyone..
He would never want me to dwell in these emotions to long..Dennis would always say when I was having a bad day or up-set with someone, Gail, get over it, better days are coming..After 17 months I'm feeling better about my life..It will never be the same, it can't be, it's just a new kind of Normal...
Death is a normal transition through this Journey called..Life..
Grief is the agony of an instant, the indulgence of grief the blunder of life..
Take care of yourself Sunlight, come here often there are many wonderful people here ready and willing to share Their/your journey through grief..They saved my life and I hope in some ways I helped save theirs...
Prayers and hugs..Gail..
Your story and mine sound very similar. I hope you are doing ok? It has been just over 2 months for me and I am still in shock. How are you doing?
