Ok. I went to a theater play in my town today. Of course all by myself. Anyway it was a "Midsummer Nights Dream" by Shakesphere that I had never seen before. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it very much. After the play I had the desire to go to a restaurant my husband and I went to every Thursday before he died. We got to know the owners and the wait staff very well. I hadn't been back to there since he died. After the play I decided to go and get the special drink they made for me and an appetizer. I started to go home and turned around to go back. I had never done anything like this before by myself. When I entered the restaurant I saw the waitress I had become friends with along with the owner. I sat down at the bar, ordered my drink and appetizer and had a conversation with some of the other patrons at the bar. It was great. I am so glad I made myself do this. I don't intend to become a barfly but going to a comfortable place was like going to "Cheers". I enjoyed it and it made my weekend so much better. I think I will do it again.
