Nephew can't get to Oklahoma

My nephew, a horse jockey, scheduled to start the met riding at WIll Rogers racetrack, has been grounded due to snowy bad weather there,
waiting out the bad weather in New Mexico

How are all the Oklahomians doing?
Our news said Chicago has the worst weather in their history,

We were supposed to get snow like our 1995/1996 winter which was our worst but did not happen but sure am getting tired of the COLD

My sister and her husband have a condo in Chicago on Lakeshore Drive. They are directly across from Belmont Harbor. They said the storm was wild and when they could see the waves it was scary and the snow even scarier. Cars were...I guess still are?...stuck on the roads

My other sister lives outside Indy and they had more ice than snow but it was not as much as they had been warned about getting.

A friends's daughter lives in Texas near the mexican border (wehre ever there is a military base..not sure of the anme of the town) and she said they were getting snow today.

And now we are supposed to get more snow this weekend and week in Ky...we dodged this last one.

I've still got bragging priviliges here in Illinois. The results are official. The snow levels didn't top 1967's. In fact, it's only the 3rd largest snowfall, having been topped by the 1999 blizzard.
