It has been a while since my last post. Five years ago I lost my husband in a tragic car accident but two months before his death, my daughter was rapped. It was hard, really hard days. Unfortunately once again I’m faced with another challenge. This past Presidents’ Day my daughter attempted against her life. She saw on her college campus the person who rapped her. She was afraid and thought her world was shaddered again and couldn’t face the pain of loosing her grandma on New Year’s Eve. She’s in so much pain and there’s nothing I can do to change how she feels. Please who ever reads this post pray for my daughter; so she can heal her heart and mind. Thank you

Do you know of a good Christian counselor who can help your daughter process her thoughts and understand how to cope in a healthy way with her fears? Does she understand that none of it is her fault? Not the rape, not her father's death, none of it is her fault.
I will pray for her right now.
Your daughter should seek assistance from the counseling services available on campus. She is going to need extra help to recover, and especially to cope on campus. Depending on her age, and the age she was when assaulted, criminal charges may still be possible against her rapist. Either way, she needs expert help, not just prayers, and you do, too. This is traumatic for both of you. The college counselors should be able to help you both or direct you to whatever services are available in your area. Don't hesitate to get help for both of you.
