Though not accepted by all cultures there is a belief that both realms exist simultaneously , but in different dimensions. That those new (your aunt and husband) have a time to travel and check on us while they essentially wait their turn in line for the western gates to open. So in some aspects you or they could communicate, while they are in this transition phase. As long as this is not upsetting to you, you might try this.
Write a letter or short note to the aunt, thanking her for the visit, express you gratitude to her for her participation in your life. Ask her to carry those good memories with her and to give the husband a hug. Let her know that your dog has a fear of this type of visit. You have a fear of losing your dogs companionship. Give her an option to let her know that she is now safe within the heavens. Like a signal. Sounds of a bell were common in christian beliefs, so maybe two rings when she has made it and three when the hug is given. Then give her your blessings to go on to her place of peace, free from what was only a physical restraint here. There she will be as whatever she chooses. Until then you will wait until it is your time to join her and the hubs.
For me often felt john over my shoulder when I wrote him notes. So I know that he was reading as I wrote.
But a lot of that comes from my duel beliefs, that have been merged with in me. Both with centuries of foundations and the basic elements of the foundations the same.
make sure that you are safe. Dogs will sense danger. Next time this happens maybe you should report it to the police or neighbor. Let them make sure that you are safe. If there is nothing outside, then talk to your husband and aunt and let them know that they are bothering the dog.
