This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I know this is a W and W site, but since I feel I know so many of you I am asking for your prayers and good thoughts. My nephew is a fishing guide on Vancouver Island, and he and his 3 American clients are missing at sea. They did not return to the lodge on Monday. Today is Thursday. There is a huge sea and air search, many little islands and coves, but they have not turned up anything yet. He is my brother's only son and the only son of Maureen, his first wife, who is the sister of my heart and is so helpful to me now and when my beloved Pat passed away. Please pray for these 4 men. The overturned boat was found at dinner time today. There is no more news at this time. It should be on the American TV stations too. Thank you for everything. Hugs, Wendy

You and the families continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. What a horrific tragedy. I pray they will be able to find peace and closure. The special circumstances of not knowing what happened must be terribly difficult to process. May God give special peace and comfort to those who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. Blessings to you, Wendy, as you are most likely reliving your loss as well while watching your brother mourn the loss of his son. How very heartbreaking for you all. TJ
