OMG, I am sorry. I know you probably feel like you just can't take another thing. My cat is 19 and on her last leg, skinny. I keep thinking please no, not know. So I am sorry. This #ucks.

I'm so sorry. It is so hard to lose a dog. I was told 2 wks ago my dog may have a disease with a 2 yr life expectancy - but I don't know yet. My sister's dog died only a week after she put her husband in a nursing home - he was in his late 50's (they still don't know what's wrong with him) and her dog was only 3 yrs old. It's so hard when a pet dies and it seems so unfair when it happens soon after a death in the family.

I'm so terribly sorry. YOU have your hands amazingly full - unbelievable what's going on in your life all at the same time. Wish I was right there to give you a big hug in person (and then hand you a glass of wine).

I am so, so sorry........yet another heartache. I will pray and will find a card I have that has a poem called the rainbow bridge. It brought a bit of comfort when my old cat died. This does suck!!!!!!!!

I'm so so sorry, your heart must be breaking all over again. Have you got a vet to help you with her so she doesn't suffer. It's going to be so hard for you to let her go but it is her time so hold her close and let her feel your love. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I live in fear when my dog goes exploring and doesn' come home for an hour or so. l live in the country and he picked my love Rose Marie and I as his family. He is griving also. I don't know what I would do if I losy him too. I ache for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost 4 cats somce Mike has died and I know that I have another one that I must make that painful decision for. Never easy but we do need to do the best for them that we can if they are suffering.

Taffy is coming home. They've got her on anti-seizure medication. Thanks everyone for talking me through this. I know my dog won't live forever, but she's still with me for now.

I'm glad she's coming home. My two little ones are at my feet right now. I only pray I can take care of them for as long as they need me. One, my husband's maltese, has ALWAYS been high maintenance. After he passed away, this little one developed glaucoma. The meds are horribly expensive and though surgery is available, I don't think he'd make it through another round of anesthesia. We do what we can for our furbabies.

Im thankful taffy is coming home. After my husband died I got a kitten -smokey has been more supportive to me then my family has been. I would never make it these last 4 month without him. Tomorrow would have been my 1st year being married he never got to see it. I know that when I cry my kitten will be next to me help wiping my tears. I know why God made pets

This is so hard. I went through it a couple of years ago. My little girl wasn't that old - only 7. But she had a bad back injury that grew progressively worse over her last couple of years. Finally, that day arrived and it was horrible.
At her age, I know you realize it is coming, but I hope the meds help her and you still have many years of happiness with her. My sons friend recently went through the same thing with his dog who is about the same age as yours, blind, deaf and had 24 hours of almost constant seizures. She is doing great now and it has been a few weeks.

I am so glad you were able to bring your dog home; and who knows, she may live several more years! My cocker spaniel was 18 when we had to put her down. It is one of the hardest things ever, because they are your family too. I would not have made it since Gene passed if it were not for my 2 kitties.

So sorry about your canine child. Our Amie has heard me cry so much lately she just comes to snuggle. Google The Rainbow Bridge, it may give you some comfort. Hugs, Wendy

She's home, but I'm not out of the woods yet. Her back legs aren't working. I won't watch her suffer, so I'll make the decision Monday. Right now, I'm giving her anything she wants to eat.
