It has been two years, 5 months since my husband passed away and I celebrated my 76th birthday. My husband would have celebrated his 18 days after mine. I used to read comments being newly widowed, and wondered if I would ever express the same thoughts. I am so grateful to Daily Strength. You have been my earthly support in extending yourself to pray for me, to encourage me and give me practical advice also. So my mission has been and will always be to pray daily and urge you "to be anxious for nothing, but in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" "Also, He will keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, because you trust Him." I am learning each day, to live in the present, in His Presence, one day at at time. At night when I have difficulty sleeping and I still do, when I cry in my pillow, though not as much as in the past, I have started memorizing scripture and I repeat it over and over and I fall asleep.
Each day we awaken and see a new day, being able to move on our own, it is a lot to be thankful for. I know how hard it is for those who are new on this journey. I can say with truthfulness I have been been where you are. Believe me you will gather the strength you need. And in the months and years to come, when you think on the many beautiful times you had together, you will smile.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Can someone who does not have heavenly beliefs find grace and a way to live a full and complete life, even without their mate?
Will they find happiness and peace? Will they be able to grieve and find solace, grace and friendship in the people around them?
What if their religious belief system does have Jesus in it, what will happen to them?
