Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I will continue to pray that God will strengthen you and make your path straight. It must feel like you don't have control of your life when you can't stop your neighbor from harming your property and also, you've had your place up for sale and you haven't received just the right offer yet. Maybe God has plans for you there, plans you can't see right now. I will pray for you that your life will become less stressful and more filled with love from those you care about.
So sorry you're having to deal with a horrible neighbor. As if you don't have enough stress in your life after losing your husband! Holy cow, people can be just so darn cruel!
I'll keep my fingers (and toes) crossed that whatever cost it takes to rectify your situation is affordable and allows you to continue to live in the home that you and your husband made together.
Meantime, you're seasoned enough to know that you can always come here to vent, etc. We've got your back...
Hugs,
Terry
I was wondering, if you have any damage because of what the neighbor has done, can you put in an insurance claim for it? Then the insurance company would have you sign something so they can go after your neighbor for reimbursement (they call that a subrogation action). Just a thought....
Hang in there, my friend.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
Than took in more animals here to feed....and moved 122 bales two 70+ year old ladies and me....we did it and I am amazed I am not that sore....
My brother per Dr is luck to be alive waited 2 hrs to get into hosp. Valve repair and pace maker and he is adjusting to that...My dad died at 71 heart problems for yrs -
Conservation district is coming up this coming Tues to check my water situation out to find reasonable (I pray) solution to stop from having to pump water out (as I can not all winter) Seems I will have to pipe across my pasture to drain what comes in from neighbors large pond...attorney said $5 to 8 thousand to fight him and than would only be able to force him to line pond...I do not have that kind of money so...
Going to head to load more hay....66+ more bales and than my friend still needs me to sew more horse blankets for her...after next Tues
I hope that you are able to find a place that is manageable for you, and that you will make new happy memories there. G-
I completely understand your feelings. My brother was hospitalized less than 2 yrs after Joe died. He had several things go wrong and remained in hospital 5 weeks & 5 days, then moved to a hosypice facility, where he stayed 3 nights and died the next afternoon. It is a really tough thing to lose a husband and then a brother. My big brother was my hero, while I grew up. So, it was hard!
Glad that your brother is doing better! As for that neighbor - I am praying his heart softens & he does the right thing by you. If not, the Lord has his number---:-).
Maybe you can sell and move closer to your grand babies.
Hugs, Joely
