Our weather has warmed up ~almost 50 and so I went down and took off my horses blankets (it was miserably in teens for almost a week at night and low 30's in day with blowing winds)

I petted them, talked to them, told them there now go lay and roll in snow - and hope you do not freeze tonight (its going to be in mid 20's so they have thick enough hair since no winds etc and a shelter to get in), I felt so good just hanging around them,,,,,,I realized how good it made me feel

While I am still on the lonely side - and feel sad at times I realize I am getting better...

NOT perfect - I know I need to move on.....BUT I wanted to share how that moment I felt good....And it felt good to have a good moment....

What a greaT POST!!!

All those moments...when we string them together equal the healing we need to do! All those things ARE moving forward! How great is it that we can HAVE moments!!!

Thanks for sharing your good moment. I will share one from today.

I have an Angel Wing Begonia that I want to share with some friends. I made about 6 cuttings (hopefully half will make it.)

It made me feel good and hopeful.

These little things help our hearts to heal.

I love those moments - I hold them to my heart like a gift, which is exactly what they are. And you described this one so beautifully, I could see it in my mind's eye. Not wax lyrical here...well, I guess I will, at that, but it's like for a moment (or an hour, or a day), the world, our world, just falls into alignment, and there's peace in our hearts. I'm very much aware of them now. ((Hugs))

Amazing how much a good moment means to us now, how many special moments we took for granted in the past. I pray that your good moments become good days, then Weeks, then years.

I agree, those moments we used to have nearly all the time, before the days that changed our lives----now when they happen we marvel at them, and cherish them, and hope for more in the days ahead.
The first fall when Stan died some friends from work came and planted bulbs for me---for hope in the spring. It was a lovely gesture and it did warm my heart to see them come up.
A quote I have reminds me of all of us as our hearts are slowly healing.
Blessed are the seeds waiting in the darkness for the call of Spring.
