I was ready to go to church this morning when my dog who just had surgery started moaning, I decided to stay home with her and not stress her more by leaving. The church I go to has an online service so I watched it online. Thank you Lord I was not there, they had all the couples in the church look at their partner and tell them how much they love them. I would probably have lost it as I sat here crying watching it. So neat how God used my puppy to keep me home, still able to worship, but not suffer such pain. Thank you Lord. Gosh I miss my hubby.

Your post made me think of a poem I learned long ago. I "googled" it and learned that it's actually the first verse of a hymn.

"God moves in a mysterious way
his wonders to perform;

These are the examples that strengthen our faith in God's love and involvement in our lives. So happy He did this for you.

One of the things I am thankful for is the strength, courage, and guidance He provides me every day. It sometimes shows itself in odd and confusing, sometimes ironic ways, but its always there. I honestly believe we're protected when we're at our most vulnerable.
