I was walking my dog this morning and listening to music. Since my husbands death I have saved a ton on video messages he sent me to my phone but never had I saved it to my music playlist. Between songs one of his messages plays and he said "I love you, be safe (kissy noise). Right after that message the song "I'll be there" from the Jackson 5 played. For those of you who don't know, the lyrics project the message that no matter what, no matter where I am he will always be there. I burst into tears because the song was everything I would hope he would say to me from the other side. I miss him..

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people.
