I guess I always look for signs. I laid in bed this morning, listening to the rain. I'm a lite sleeper, can't sleep, especially a thunder storm. The rain was blowing sideways, and hitting my bedroom window. I thought it was strange, that never happens. Then something fell and I heard a thump. I got up and had water running across my living room. Pulled the rug up, it just got a little water on it. Got towels and made a dam. I have 2 old patio doors, that came with the house. We never use them, and there is an overhang, but since the rain was blowing that way, water got in. I have a metal roof, so it wasn't leaking from the roof. I guess I'll have to try and weather proof, or see about changing them.
Anyway, there was so much rain, my street was flooded. I'm off today, thank God. The news is covering all the flooding. I can deal with a little water. Just extra cleaning today.
Anyway, the point I was making, before going off on a tangent, is did my husband send a sign, for me to get up and stop the water, before it got all over the living room? I found what fell, it was a purse, i bought yesterday, fell on the floor.
