Always seeking signs that they are with us..i know. I had a huge breakdown around 6 months ago Again and while alone i asked him why he left me..i felt or heard him say he will always be a part of me as love never dies..i think of this all the time when my heart is just gone. It gives me strength and i hope it helps you too ( Hugs)

Love this! I am sure it was a sign. God works in many different ways. I think He answers a lot of our questions in just this way. We just need to be tuned in. When my mother passed away, I got several signs that she was ok and in Heaven. I think grief sometimes blocks those signs or we’re just not as sensitive to them. I love it when this happens...it makes me smile too. I am so happy for you. Keep looking for those signs.....hugs....Linda

When I first lost my husband I began to receive many signs. He knew that I believed in that after having lost my Mom. It gave me so much comfort and I felt like he was telling me he was still with me. I still get signs but not as often as in the first year. I think it may be that I do t need them as much now as I know he is always with me. Take them as the gifts they are and know that your husband would be happy that you recognize them .

I found it easier to accept them as signs. I too have received a few after my love has passed.

You could have noticed about a million other things while you were in the store, but the name was the one that grabbed your attention. And you found peace not sadness. It is easier not having to argue with yourself back and forth whether it is real or not - in some sense it doesn't matter. It is nice when it comes.

My wife passed away less than two months ago. I had to do some shopping at the local store and I heard them page an associate overhead to report to such and such department. The associate shared the same name as my wife. Immediately following the page, the song playing over the intercom was one of the songs we played at her funeral. Fighting back the tears, I knew it had to be a sign.

I believed in signs and had many. Soon after his death, my daughters took me shopping with them. We walked into a store for the young people, I browsed around while the girls did they shopping. I saw a red T shirt that has the words "trading post, Sedona". We went to a trading post and hiked at Sedona in Utah. It was the last trip 3 months trip to his death. What a sign that spoke to me! I bought that T shirt. This month was our 42 anniversary. I smelled twice the scent of peanuts, once opening the fridge. I dismissed it. The second time laying in bed, I smelled the scent on my left arm, the I knew it was my husband. He loved to snack on peanuts and he slept on my left side. That night I also dreamed of him and chatted with him. It was very comforting. Yours could be a sign too.
