I am so sorry for you loss. After 47 years of marriage I cannot imagine how lost you must feel. Nick & I were married for 22 years and it felt like my entire world had died.
I am hoping 2014 will be kind and gentle to all of us. And I hope to you it brings comfort and peace.

So sorry for your loss! I was married for 38 yrs 5 months, and we had dated 2 yrs. so, we had 40 1/2 yrs together. I miss him still, and always will ~ to a certain degree. Tonight, I have been rather "blue" without him on New Year's Eve.

Hope that all on DS have a better 2014 than 2013.

This is the first new year since 1984 that I celebrated with my husband. He would not have enjoyed this evening, partially why I chose to spend it the way I did. I didn't miss him as much. I pray 2014 gives all some peace.
