Hi All,
We have had another influx of love scammers/spammers and we've spotted and reported some creepy types/predators. If you are contacted by one encouraging you to message them off the Daily Strength site, or wanting to ask you "personal questions," or exchange photos, then please report them as abuse. Here is how to do that:
How do I report abuse?
To report abuse, spam, or another difficulty with a member:
- Click on the content you feel is abusive and select the downward arrow next to the "Like" button.
- If you choose "Report", you will be taken to a form where you can report the situation to a DailyStrength team member.
- Choose "Report Abuse & Spam" as the request type.
- Enter in any relevant info, such as the username of the member you're reporting as well as a brief summary of the issue at hand.
- Click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form to send your abuse report.
Our group gets targeted as the scammers and predators know we can get pretty lonely and aren't always thinking too clearly. Please be careful! The Community Leaders report the ones we spot or are contacted by, but we won't see all of them. So please, if you are contacted by someone or see something suspicious, please report it. You may save a fellow widow/widower a whole heap of trouble and heartache - and we've got enough of that already, don't we?

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. Usually the photos they use are stolen from elsewhere. If someone's avatar photo looks too good to be true, it's something to watch out for. From the hot young female model, to the beefcake guys, to the men in uniform photos, it gets ridiculous - they are usually stolen, and also used across several websites hunting for victims.
Be sensible, and be careful.

Please play it safe everyone, I know it's nice to have friends and people to talk to you but you have to be so cautious in this world these days.
