you have come to the right place. We all can relate.
this past November, my wife of 20+ years also collapsed from a "sudden cardiac event"; I am so sorry you are experiencing this.
you are going to experience all of those stages of grief you have read about unfortunately, but you will find plenty of great support from people up here who know exactly what you are going through
You are going through such a traumatic shock of losing your beloved,
I am so so sorry. I know, we on this forum, all understand your grief.
We are here for you.
Sending you, loving thoughts of hope during this time.

Take things moment for moment as they comes.
Take care of yourself.
Sending positive thoughts your way.
You are definitely not alone on this site. My wife died in her sleep from a cardiac event. You are just beginning the rollercoaster ride through the valley of grief and every emotion possible will come to visit you. I do not mean that is bad. It is the minds way of helping us through a disturbing and stressful time in our life. All of us have experienced where you are today so hell yes we can relate. Not by choice but by the events that have occurred in our life. You will ultimately move through this journey but it is difficult and time consuming but you can and will make it. YOU WILL MAKE IT! Take care of your health as all of us have had different issues to deal with. Mine was alcohol and wound me up in ICU. We are all here to support you and please post your feelings as all of us has had similar issues.
Montana hug to you Kelly!

I'm very sorry about your sudden loss. I understand completely about how much energy it takes just to breathe. I was so tired at first, but it does get better very slowly. The WW support group has been a safe haven and place for me to learn how to navigate this journey none of us want to be on. Each of us moves through this at our own pace.
I wasn't able to focus on books at first, but I was able to focus on this site with short messages from people that truly get what we're feeling. After a while, I wanted to learn more and this discussion on grief books was posted by Sandy with others contributing more.
I don't know how to insert the link, but hope this works.
