Its been almost 5 months since Jason was taken. The loneliness is gut wrenching and depressing. We didnt do alot with friends we enjoyed each others company from taking trips in the semi, riding our cycle, or messing in the garage. Now all I do is worry how I will make ends meet and sit at home unless I have an appointment. My friends are all married and busy with their lives. Its kinda hard to be around couples it reminds me what I lost.
Our town is so small we don't have any groups or activities kind of a Mayberry town. I live in the country so, no neighbors to talk to. I want my life back! I'm sick of the hurt and the silence.

It will get easier in time, be gentle with yourself and know that you are not alone in your despair.
Love and Peace,

Scott is right. The worst that can happen has already happened and the best is still ahead but we have to be open to it. Life is meant to be lived. The most difficult part is unraveling ourselves from being a couple and the future we expected.
I don't understand grief but I know it intimately. Be kind to yourself. What would you say or do for a friend who was experiencing what you are? Do that for yourself. Sending (((hugs))).
