I can so relate to what you are saying. Today was one of those days that I felt so empty. I too like you miss my Love every moment of every day. I love you Larry !!!

I seem to miss him more every day, his presence,his smile, his voice, just all the ordinary, little things, he did and we did on a daily basis. I am filled with sadness and find myself bursting into tears so easily at the moment. It is nearly 15 months for me and seems harder now in so many ways as the reality of never seeing him again continues to smash me in the face each day. It takes everything I have to go to work each day, by the time I get home at night and or the weekend comes, I am exhausted and find myself crying and just wanting to stay home. Imam not getting any of the jobs I need to do done and that makes me annoyed with myself, somI have this constant internal battle going on, you need to,do...... I can't , I' m just so sad.... Why bother..... Who cares........ I have been driving myself crazy.... So, I'm going to try just going with it and see what happens. I am so struggling with accepting my life now, I just cannot seem to accept that he is gone, I so want him and my old life back and the future that we planned. In the last 15 months, I have worked hard at accepting and moving forward, I am still work full time, I am connected to and supported by family and friends, I volounter, I have planned and taken trips and holidays, ( previously my/our absolutely favourite thing to do) I socialize, I function each and every day., clean my house, do the garden, clean the yard. But it's all a fraud and I don't know how much longer I can keep it up. I just so can't be bothered with any of it any more, nothing seems worth the effort. All I want is my husband back and the fact that that is impossible is killing me.

So relate. Just trying to get through each day. I try to keep positive because I don't want to be a downer around my friends who are the best and very supportive. Just hard to go through life without my husband and just going through the motions. Weekends are the hardest. Take it all a day at a time... So glad to come here to this forum to know I am not alone in this journey.

I sold my season tickets for the Bronco games I've had since I was 8 yrs old. My wife was my game day partner and we rarely missed a game for 15 years when she started going with me. I was watching the game on TV yesterday, it was at home, and I saw all the people in and leaving the stadium and just broke down thinking of holding her hand on the way in and out and just the fun we had cheering our team. It will never be the same. Rough day.

Pete I watched the bronco game yesterday too. Great game . Danny was a huge patriots fan, I kept his patriots jersey. His friends texted me yesterday saying fantasy football isn't the same. I thought football would be hard but it has become a comfort to me. I'm sorry for your loss, and hate how things we used to love have become everyday reminders of what we have lost

I totally get it. That's really what it comes down to...just missing him.

Those same words come out of my mouth every minute as well.
I'll always miss him and I'll always love him. Stay strong.

I guess you do really sum it all up for all of us. Countless times have I just said in the moment, "Oh Juani, I miss you so much". And I really really do. She was my everything and now she's gone and I can't do anything about it. Sad. Very sad.

It has been 11 months and I still miss my husband every single moment of every single day. I don't think there will ever come a day when I don't miss him terribly.

Totally get that. I often go to my room and look at the picture of him, and I just say "I really miss you." Always with tears. I just miss every single bit our lives. He was my rock. I don't like the my new normal.
