Hi Folks!
You may or may not know me, but my name is Jesse and I work here at DailyStrength. I'm writing to let you know that we're looking to add a Community Leader to the Widows and Widowers Support Group -- so we'd like to know if you want to become one!
In case you're not already familiar with what Community Leaders do, they're vibrant members who volunteer to greet new folks in the group, offer positive and constructive advice in discussion posts, help steer negative topics back on track, and occasionally close a clearly abusive discussion post (which is very rare in this group). If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a volunteer CL, please send me a private message with the subject heading of "CL for Widows & Widowers". DS staff will then review the candidates.
To be considered for the role of a CL, we'd like to ask that you:
1. Be okay with having a profile privacy setting of either "Everybody" or "DS Members".
2. Have not received prior warnings from DS for violations of the Rules of the Road.
3. Have been an active member of the Widows and Widowers support group for at least six months.
I'll leave this post up for a few days, and I might bump it up every once and a while so it stays on the main page.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

Question: have both of you been Girl Scout Leaders or anything like that?
Question: Marsha will they stop you from ''saying'' WTF? it's endearing I think.
He is not being booted out as he is a member here and welcome as anyone else.
And I am sure your offer of cake and a card is because you would be missing him as you are a gracious and polite member of the board.
As other have said...anyone who was removed as a member had this happen after many warnings from DS....not from a CL.
I have seen the problems Acuriousfish has encountered in his attempt to be of any help here an unofficial CL for this group. Having been in management most of my career I realize the volitile nature of people especially when you don't allow them to do as they please. My views and toleration for things may be a bit strict. My husband always said I lived in a world according to Linda Lane..I did and I was always ( usually)(mostly) (sometimes) right. He loved my world so it didn't matter.
I would need to know how to slap some one upside the head verbally to be CL cause sometimes I think I'd like to do that..
