This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I have not been able to get online as my computer is failing. I wanted to send a short message to wish everyone well. I have had so much to do between cleaning projects in the barn and dealing with my computer And my cellphone that is breaking down too. I am now switched over to my husband's phone.

I had to wait until my husband came home from work to talk to him or he had to call me from his office or use a phone booth.
I don't use GPS and I DON'T stop and ask for directions at a gas station. If I'm lost, I'm lost and I figure it out. Last resort: I pull over and use my cell phone.
My Dad died in 1976......I can't imagine what he'd think if he came back tomorrow. People walking around with phones attached to their heads. Kids playing with machines on their laps at bus stops and on and on.
I know that technology is a wonderful thing.......it's also a curse, at times!!!

If we ever lost All This Stuff....we would have to go back to writing REAL letters and send by Snail Mail.....the mind boggles to think of it!!!
