Journaling relieves the weary brain & heavy heart -
I wasn't successful w/it -
I drew stick figures, scribbled, became worried about my grammar & punctuation, so I quit -
I carried my crapola around in my head till it became unbearable -
Then I started writing notes leaving them in between pages of books left on the bed, floor, bathroom, living room, dining room -
They'd fall out of every book I opened; that became annoying -
Next I tried leaving my notes in a container ... some people call it a God Jar or Spiritual Cleansing Jar ... I call it a Trash Can (for all my trash talk); its been successful -
For me, this type of safe venting has been quite productive -
Be kind & loving w/yourself everyday of your life -

I tell her about my day, what's going on in my life and let her know that she truely is missed. This has so far been helpful to get myself through the difficult times. I just write to her like I'm keeping her up to date on all that is going on with me. At least for now it does seem to be helping me through the really hard days.
